Dear Church Family
On behalf of Ps Jeff and the Church Leadership
Leadership working together
With all the restrictions that have been put in place, just like the economy, our church life has suddenly come to a stop. We are all confined to our homes and separated from each other.
The leadership of Living Waters is working hard right now to reconnect us. For example, the elders are in daily communication, each with their part to play in realigning our church with the new reality we find ourselves in.
That is why you will continue to see emails and updates from us in the next days and weeks as we launch new initiatives and get the church back to a functioning state.
If you have ideas or suggestions, please let us know, we are a body and each has a part to play.
Please feel free to contact any of the Elders or Karina.

Moving forward, we are hoping to create a live stream church service where we can participate in real time.
In the meantime, this Sunday we are creating a way for everyone to come together ‘in spirit’ to worship, do communion and hear the Word. It will be all based around a page on our website were each household can follow through a ‘virtual’ service order.
When you do land on the page, please take the time to make a comment and say hello in the discussion area to help us connect.
I will send out details and a link to this page tomorrow. The link will also be on the home page of our church website.
Church Website and New Blog
The church website is going to be updated as we move forward. So please visit it regularly and send others there so they can find out what is happening.
Ps Jeff has started a blog on the website and his first post is up and ready to read.
We will also be adding more resources and study tools that the church can use to grow in faith together.
The Church website is: https://www.livingwatersloxton.com.au
Serving our Community
For many, including older, disadvantaged and vulnerable people in our community, this time is particularly hard. Many are suffering and struggling through this tough time alone.
This is an opportunity for us to show the love and compassion of Christ in a practical way, as his hands and feet in our community.
One way we can do this is through offering real tangible help to people, to pray for them or just to be a listening ear.
We have a flyer that we would like to letter box drop that offers our support in this time of need.
We are looking for people who:
- Can do a letter box drop (even if it is just your street).
- Who are available to do any of the following:
· Deliver some shopping (But avoiding contact)
· Pray with a person (over the phone)
· A friendly conversation (over the phone)
